Also known as Snow-pocalypse, Snoprah, and, my personal favorite, Snowtorious B.I.G.
Yup, as I mentioned in my previous post, Chicagoland got hit with a massive blizzard, and got about 20 inches of snow dumped on us. Luckily, I made it home before it started, but a lot of people were stuck battling the elements because their bosses weren’t super nice like mine. Seriously people, when Tom Skilling, weather-man extraordinaire, says that we’re getting a lot of snow, you need to listen to him!
When I looked out my living room window yesterday, this is what I saw – our neighbor’s completely snowed in and digging themselves out!
Yesterday was a snow day for me, and I spent it hanging out with Frankie and watching all 10 episodes of “The Pacific.” Nothing like a little history lesson to make a snow day complete.
I also made Tony hot chocolate to compensate for him having to do this twice:
My man is so secure in his masculinity that wearing my pink scarf while snowblowing doesn’t bother him.
Oh, and on Tuesday night, while the snow was blowing and the wind was howling and we couldn’t even SEE the neighbor’s house, Frankie and I decided to take a bubble bath together for the first time. He loved it, and I think I finally figured out a way to make sure that mommy gets to bathe most days.
